Get Prepared for June 30 and the Financial Year End
The Financial Year End is nearly upon us; if you have employees, then you need to be ready for the new payroll year. At times this may seem a little daunting but with a methodical approach you will be able to move seamlessly from this financial year to the next. To assist you in this process, we have compiled a June 30 MYOB EXO Payroll checklist for you to use:
Here's your June 30 MYOB EXO Payroll Checklist
- Reconcile Superannuation, PAYG and Wages to your BAS and General Ledger.
- Ensure Reportable Superannuation and FBT has been recorded against relevant employees.
- Print and distribute payment summaries to employees by July 14.
- Lodge your Annual PAYG Return with the ATO by August 14.
- You may choose to lockdown the last financial year. To download instructions on how to do this please visit the client section of our website and login with the following credentials:
Username: allclients and Password: allclients
- Last, install the compliance update prior to processing the first pay in July 2010. You will receive an email from MYOB shortly with a link to their site to install new tax tables for the 2010/11 year.
Hopefully, in following these six points you will be ready to begin the new Financial Year. Nonetheless, should you require any further help or have any questions, then please contact the Kilimanjaro support desk on 1300 857 464 or support@k-c.com.au.
